French-lavender

Part 1

Now is the flowering season for “Creeping thyme”.Co-starring with “Super Alyssum”.On the left is ”Australian rosemary”, the plant above “Creeping thyme” and ”Super Alyssum” is ”Origanum-Kent Beauty”. It would be nice to have another tall flower here.

Part2

This is probably Kalanchoe. Flowers bloom beautifully every year at this time.

Part3

This is Sedam. I picked it up from a nearby park before and planted it. It has many yellow flowers now.

Part4

French lavender !. This is the herb I’ve always wanted. I tried to recreate the group pots of “Olearia Little Smoky”, “Ballota”, ”Nemesia” and “Carex”, and stuffed it in the middle!

Gardening2019-spring-

There are many weeds in the south garden, weeding ! Since I basically use weeds for gardening, I leave the weeds we like.

After weeding, I transplanted Margaret from green roof, and planted Cattleya clover.

Cattleya clover – left side blooms purple flower.

Group plantings

Add Margaret to pot of Coral pea with weeds(Blue toadflax – Linaria canadensis)
Add a Delphinium – mintblue – in the group planting pot with MIni rose & Ivy grew up too much. I planted first time this bright blue flower.
Planted some flowers in the antique postcard holder. Upper : English daisy + sage, Middle : Brachyscome, Lower : Moss phlox.

Preparation for spring garden

It’s already spring… but still cold, and it’s raining… I don’t feel like gardening…

Today, I did some weeding, clean and organize the “Container display corner”.
After all viola grows well! I cut it back and put it back in my room. I used the “favorite” coffee cup with the broken handle as a vase to decorate the room. There is a good scent in the room.

Cosmos-sulphrreus, Ipomoea-quamoclit

I kept the seeds I picked up on the roadside last year and planted them in July of this year. So one of them has grown firmly and is still in bloom.
I think I’ll take seeds again and increase them next year.
One more. When I sown the seeds two years ago, it grew a lot. I also kept these seeds. It is said that the English name is “Cardinal climber”. It’s still blooming.
I will harvest this seed again this year. Thus, seeds are formed after the flowers have finished blooming.
The bulge of this fruit is dry, so if you put a little effort, a black seed will come out from inside like this.
